Automatic Folding Scooter

I'm interested in buying an automatic folding scooter and wonder if anyone has one and what they think about it.

I think they are very handy. My mom has one. They are kinda easy to travel with. And it gives you some kind of freedom, if you know what I mean? If you normally need a wheelchair, getting a scooter is also nice for the person traveling with you. This way they can walk next to you instead of behind you pushing a wheelchair.

Why would you like one? because of traveling or for at home?

Some of them are great, some not so great.

 

i use power wheelchairs, the autofolding one is great because I don’t need to bend and twist etc to fold it, but if it was a rubbish chair it would still be rubbish.

I am seriously thinking about getting an Air Hawk. Was previously leaning toward a Zinger Chair, but when I looked at the specs (especially the 41 lb weight) and the price, the Air Hawk wins hands down.
