When  booking next cruise  during on the cruise it mentions save up to $600 off your next cruise. What do you have to do in order to get $600 off? Is it length of cruise or type of stateroom?

You have to book a grand suite or above category on a 10+ night cruise for the $600 credit

But warning to Canadian cruisers, if you want to pay the balance in Cdn funds, you need to buy the Next cruise in Cdn funds.  You can't pay the balance in Cdn if you bought the Next cruise in US funds.  Since due to the currency exchange rate, most of us are paying in Canadian rather than US funds.  When I purchased my Next cruise on board, I was not told about this and they charged me in US funds and now I am stuck with this US$100 Next cruise credit.  I called and wanted to switch this US$100 to Cdn$100, they said they can't do it.  As a result, I was not able to use this Next cruise credit in the upcoming cruise.

I'm pretty sure that's outdated.  It no longer matters whether you pick your sailing date on ship or not.  However, you must lock in the sailing within 60 days to get savings (or OBC if you prefer)..  Otherwise you have 12 months and then all you gain is reduced deposit. If you don't pick within 12 months, you lose the deposit.

 

The amounts for Book Later are the same as Book Now and vary by cabin and cruise length as shown below..
