Let's put it this way. Starfish: It's a basic 3 star establishment with the buffet food and basic drinks to the 3 star standard. But if you're just wanting, and are happy with, the Sea and a bed with 3 star trimmings, then the resort can be considered good value. However, if wanting a day of all inclusive 5 star luxury, then it's has to be Curtain Bluff. But space is limited, so check and book early. Most people having sampled a day at CB do go on to book a vacation. While there checkout the accommodations on the Bluff, or Beachfront, make a specific selection, then look to book a future stay. Be warned, some accommodations are booked years in advance.
suech1970 Posted January 28, 2020 #5 Share Posted January 28, 2020 We stopped at Jolly Beach for time out and to check out resort(daughter staying April). Pool area and grounds looked nicely kept. They were bringing out iced water to guests on beach. That’s all I can comment on resort but the beach is stunning, pictures don’t do it justice. We chose to just hire sun beds out front of Castaways and get buckets of beer from there and SAN’s shack. Will be back again in couple of months 😁beach and swimming were amazing! suech1970 Posted March 12, 2020 #7 Share Posted March 12, 2020 Yes, Jolly beach is stunning, can’t wait to get back there in April😃 Castaways (now Bodog beach club) and Sandra are both a minute or two north walk of Jolly beach resort right on beach. Both on google maps btw
