Pools open in January?

On Royal Jan 4-11 round trip Long Beach to Mexico.  Should I expect the pools to be open?

Yes, always open except in very rough seas where the pool water sloshes so much as to make the pools dangerous.

Royal Princess from Long Beach?  That's new to me.  I live in a city next to Long Beach and Jan is COLD and rainy here.  It may get warmer as you get down into Mexico.

Yes, Last January they were warm enough once you get south of San Diego...It was lovely

@exbiologist  I think you mean San Pedro. I am on the same Cruise and it's out of Port of Los Angeles not Long Beach.

Yes, show up at Long Beach and you will miss the sailing. The ship docks in San Pedro.

Yes, of course the pools will be open!  They're open even in Alaska and the Norwegian Fjords when it's snowing.  The only thing that will close them down would be rough weather.
