What a decade for river cruising!

What a decade it has been for river cruising. From low river level to flooding to tragic accidents to five star reviews. We took three cruises in the latter half of the decade and said each time it was trip of a life time.  Amazing scenery, stunning churches,  awesome castles; great local food and cultural experiences;  truly wonderful fellow travelers. It was all pretty darn good and we will book another despite the risks of things not going quite right all the time; we try to ' with the flow' and chalk up 'glitches' as having an adventure.  Safe travels everyone and a very Happy New Year to CC'ers everywhere.

Happy new year all river cruisers, nothing booked on the rivers yet but of to California en family to introduce our grandson to The original mouse, Yosemite , Monterey etc, it’s a tough job but we’ve got to do it. Then cruising on a hire barge with friends on the Canal du Nivernais then of to our lodge in Scotland, keep your fingers crossed I can fit a cruise in somewhere. Have some great cruises and enjoy yourselves. CA
