Bringing energy drinks on board?

For my Dream Cruise, out of NOLA last March, I bought 12 individual cans at a local corner market. That’s all they had, but they were a 2 for $ price. Still much cheaper than onboard!

I put them in a cloth grocery bag and carried them on. The Carnival security took them out, all was good, then put them back in the bag, and I boarded.

I will be buying local Red Bull’s in NOLA for my March cruise this year too.

AS long as they fall into the Carnival carry on non alcs rules, bring them with you.  The energy drinks I see in the stores are often larger than the 12 oz limit per can but I think you can search for those in advance and maybe pack them with you before you get to the port destination.  I don't know if a c-store would have the small cans except maybe red bull.

I've started using something called zipfizz and it's great for energy and comes in a powder you just mix into a water bottle.

The grapefruit one is great with vodka too!  Instant mixer in my purse!

Good Luck and have a great trip!
