Linking bookings for MDR

We found out that some friends of ours unkowingly booked on the same cruise we are going on next month. So I got their booking number and told my PVP that we would like to be seated together in the MDR. He said it is all set, but is there a way to verify before getting on board? I don't see anything about linking the booking in the manage my booking page.

I don't think it shows it anywhere on the Carnival site.

You could have your friends call as well to confirm.

I agree.  If you know both cabins have the same dining time confirmed, there's no reason not to trust the word of your pvp.

You can visit the maitre d' on embarkation day to confirm.

Good suggestion. That's what we would do....just to be sure.

When you get your S&S cards, it will have your dining time and table number.  If the table numbers are the same, then no need to visit the maître d'.

If they are not the same, then you need to visit the maître d'.

If you both have YTD then nobody has to do anything. You don't need to link anything or do anything. Simply, show up to dinner together. If you're on a ship that uses The Hub app to check in to dinner, you select everyone who is with you on the app.

Have done the same thing on several occasions with no problems. Usually, they assign tables fairly close to sailing so no way to check now. As long as both parties have confirmed early dining you will not have trouble. If by some chance there is a problem you will be able to get it fixed quickly.
