Early Docking - San Juan?

We are scheduled on an eastern Caribbean March 2020 sailing on the Edge with our first day at sea & scheduled to dock in San Juan at 3:30pm.  Checked the port schedule & looks like both the Celebrity & RCL ships do not show arrival times, only the departure.  Seem to recall arriving in some ports (including San Juan) early in the past and passengers being allowed to leave the ship once it was cleared.  Asking as we'd like to try to make it to a tour that starts at 4:30pm and if we dock as scheduled would not be able to make it in time.  For those with recent experience, would it be likely that we may arrive in San Juan early, giving us a chance to disembark earlier?

Always possible but I don't believe you will have any problem hitting your 4:30 tour.

A number of websites provide port schedules, and those I've looked at show the 3:30PM arrival time. But that's just a target ETA, and weather and other factors could result on the ship being early, late or bang on time. Of the three, only an early arrival works for you, not very good odds.

We arrived early this week but were not able to leave until 4:10. Long line to depart. There was another ship next to us and we had to wait until they pulled up. Excursions from Celebrity had preference to leave.
