whoever number the rooms was drunk and skipped those numbers or they could be unlucky numbers

skipping numbers for some odd reason seems common on all NCL ships. i noticed on the Gem and Dawn they are numbers they skipped or is missing

While Spirit has a 4th deck, it doesn't have any rooms ending in "4".  Originally built for the Asian market that is supposedly like "13" is for Americans.

There has to be some TRUTH to this !

Except for deck 4 there are no cabins above this deck with the number "4" anywhere in the cabin title - - -

and then on deck 4 as reported no cabin number ending in a "4" !

Interesting !

Thank goodness the Lady Winchester*** had nothing to do with ship construction !

*** Winchester mansion San Jose California

This.  Our family is part Chinese and there are no table numbers with fours in them at family weddings on that side of the family and I'm careful never to give anyone a gift that is a set of four of something.

Thanks to everyone for that fascinating information.

Before the refit  the Spirit had a very Asian feel. We really like the ship and have just booked our 6th cruise on her ….(repositioned from Asia to Europe).

Just hope that the giant screen in the atrium isn't a permanent fixture !!!!

We too like the Spirit and the refit looks nice.  The old decor gave it a special feel.  It would be nice if it sailed out of US again so we could sail her again to see the new feel.

Other ships in the fleet have some numbers missing.  Thinking it was Star or Dawn that also don't have rooms ending in 4.

I see the new routes are out.  NCL feeling pretty confident as the prices are pretty high for this summer.  Guess only, reductions coming.

Our  friends across the pond have too many NCL ships !!!!  Encore, Bliss, Epic , Gem, Escape, Getaway, Breakaway to name just a few !!

We want to keep the Spirit for ourselves !!!
