Cancellation/Refund if Total Paid Before Due Date

We decided to pay the total a month before final payment was due. If we were to cancel before final payment would that be cash refunded or cruise credit?  I hope not to cancel but need to know what is what. Thanks.

They normally refund you to the same way you paid less any penalties. Credit card back to credit card. Gift cards back to gift cards etc.

The credit is future cruise credit to be used by  3/2021, not cash back

If they booked a fully refundable they get everything back. I am speaking about the deposit amount.  Amounts over and above are refunded, same as booked.

makes more sense - deposit is non refundable most time now.
