Change of dates

We are scheduled for May 7 Hawaii cruise, since it goes to Vancouver, for us to fly home. Canada has closed borders till July. I am waiting for Royal Carib to cancel so we can book for September cruise from Vancouver to Hawaii. When will they come out and cancel the May cruise? I don't want to cancel, since it's easier to rebook when they do the cancelling?

They will first need to cancel April 2020 sailings. Like any business RCL will hold out as long as possible. Would not expect them to move until forced by the calendar.

My guess is that the next batch of 30 days will be cancelled 7 to 14 days prior to the end of the current batch.

 

Cruise lines are currently in discussion with Canada regarding the July 1 date.  Cruise lines are reluctant as are airlines to cancel too far ahead as no ones knows exactly how this will play out.

That's my guess as well.  Expect it by the end of next week

I just canc. my June cruise and rebooked for next June with no penalty.
