2022 World Cruise

Hello all, I am very new to cruise critic.  Have cruised on Oceania Sirena and Marina.  We are very seriously considering the 2022 world cruise Los Angeles to NYC on Insignia.  We are holding PH1 cabin 8043.  Does anyone have any thoughts on the cabin/location and would love feedback on world cruising!!  We do love Oceania and are wondering if we are doing ourselves an injustice by not looking at world cruises on other lines.  Appreciate any feedback.

We sailed on Insignia in November in cabin 8065.  It was a great spot - at the end of the corridor with little foot traffic and no overhead noise.  Our in-laws were in cabin 8045.  It was even better.  Quiet but close to the elevators.  I think your choice is a good one.

We generally chose 8042 or 8043 for the location.  Great choice.

No issues with noise and close to the elevator/staircase.

Same for us - love the PH around the back set of stairs.....a quick up the stairs and you are at Terrace, Waves, Ice Cream and the pool area.   Very quiet and very handy!

If prone to motion sickness or just appreciate stability the middle of the ship on a lower deck is suggested. We love deck 4.
