B-2-Bs Best! Posted April 10, 2020 #1 Share Posted April 10, 2020 Switched flight FCO (Rome) to LHR to BCN to LHR after cruise line, Oceania, switched end port to Barcelona. Even, in the circumstances, B.A. would not wave the Change Fee. Then, about 10 days later, they canceled the Barcelona flight. They would not refund fare, but, issued a future voucher for one year, worthless to me, and, would not refund the Change Fee. How can they possibly justify a Change Fee for an aborted/canceled flight change?
Rare FlyerTalker Posted April 10, 2020 #2 Share Posted April 10, 2020 Because you made a change and THEN the flight was cancelled. Two separate events.

And ultra common in the airline business. When you canceled, they didn't know the flight would eventually be canceled.

(Assuming you bought your ticket directly from BA and not through Oceania)
