summer slope Posted April 14, 2020 #1 Share Posted April 14, 2020 (edited) I've checked my mariner info and can't find where it would be when it arrives. Edited April 14, 2020 by summer slope
Wayfairers Posted April 14, 2020 #2 Share Posted April 14, 2020 (edited) I’ve wondered the same thing. Never had FCC before. Edited April 14, 2020 by Wayfairers
USN59-79 Posted April 14, 2020 #3 Share Posted April 14, 2020 Apparently HAL has decided that you don't need to see it, as it is not posted to your Mariner information on their website. So you will not know if you actually have it until you book a cruise. Then it will show up in the price information.
Caribbean Chris Posted April 14, 2020 #4 Share Posted April 14, 2020 We received a written notice after we cancelled with reference to the FCC from our big box TA - it showed how much we had paid (minus the port and airline taxes & fees which we clarified by calling - and which are supposedly being refunded). When we called to book a future cruise (Christmas 2020), the agent subtracted only the small deposit amount from our substantial credit. Apparently they can access the FCC amount by using our Mariner #. Full payment was not due yet, so the rest of the credit is still intact.
DaveOKC Posted April 14, 2020 #5 Share Posted April 14, 2020 Yesterday my PCC told me to expect an email from HAL outlining the credit and how to handle the FCC.
summer slope Posted April 14, 2020 Author #6 Share Posted April 14, 2020 I haven't gotten anything yet. We were on the Rotterdam when she was stopped in Puerto Vallarta on March 15.
Djptcp Posted April 17, 2020 #7 Share Posted April 17, 2020 We cancelled our April 1st Veendam cruise on March 13th right after the first email from HAL that said we would receive FCC. The agent who cancelled it said I would receive an email in 2 weeks letting me know how to handle the FCC. After I didn't receive anything in 2 weeks, I called HAL and was told it would be another 4-6 weeks to receive the email. This week I booked a Veendam cruise for late Feb. using the Have it All Sale with my PCC. She said my FCC still wasn't available and it could be another 60 days before I receive the email, at which time I then could put it on the Feb. booking. So, don't expect anything soon is what I have experienced regarding the FCC and how to apply it.

Rare FlaMariner Posted April 17, 2020 #9 Share Posted April 17, 2020 The response I got today from TA from HAL when wanting to use the FCC was that they would be sent via email to me in "4 or 5 weeks or sooner"
