Hi everybody,

My wife and I are looking to book our first world cruise which sails next January, at the moment I am having great difficulty in finding travel insurance companies that give cover for 99 nights and pre-existing medical conditions. I would appreciate any recommendations from other cruisers for travel insurance that covers both world cruises and pre-existing medical conditions. Thank you. Allan.

Not knowing in what part of the world you reside and since travel insurance laws are regulated at the local level, this is a question which cannot be answered.

Start with the travel agent or cruise line you are booking with.

Look into an annual travel policy from a company like Allianz.

Hi Reggietours,

Where do you live?

Hi Allan,

Unfortunately, I can't give you the right advice because I know nothing about UK travel insurance.

By the way, my Mom has had a pen pal in Hereford, England since 1941. The first time my 22 year old son walked was in a 400 year old house in Hereford.

First-  Allianz is a poor choice due to too low coverage for medical.   Second-  coverage is not long enough.
