Rare pierces Posted June 1, 2020 #1 Share Posted June 1, 2020 Pictures taken between Monday, June 1 and Sunday, June 7. The world is opening up again. Stay safe and shoot some pictures of it! Stay well. Rules: See above That's it. This isn't a contest. All photos taken this week are welcome (not just cruising). Prizes will not be awarded. Discovering the joy of photography is the prize. The idea is to get folks out using their cameras for more than vacations and toddler birthdays. Post one. Post many. Up to you. Have fun with your camera and share your fun with others! Rare pierces Posted June 8, 2020 Author #6 Share Posted June 8, 2020 We are fortunate to have been largely spared from the impact of the 2020 Covid-19 World Tour and are thankful for that. We followed the rules. Even the stupid ones forbidding outdoor activities because fresh air and sunshine were somehow dangerous. One on the consequences of being good citizens was that the wildflower season came and went while we sheltered in place. We didn't do our annual wildflower run up to the Poppy Reserve or local blooming hotspots like Diamond Valley Lake. While small in the Grand Scheme, the impact to my favorite hobby has been significant to me and this week I got out the real camera and did the June birthday photo shoot for the grandkids. I even found a surviving late season wildflower! Missed Opportunities Dave

While I don't see the aforementioned wieners or marshmallows, your choice of post-labor refreshment certainly wins the day. 😉 Dave
Krazy Kruizers Posted June 18, 2020 #8 Share Posted June 18, 2020 Love wild flowers. Sadly none of ours reseeded from last year.
