ged1967 Posted June 18, 2020 #1 Share Posted June 18, 2020 My August 2020 cruise on Dawn has unsurprisingly been cancelled. I’ve received my letter from NCL via my TA today. It gives me the options of either 100% refund to same payment method or 125% FCC. There is no mention of an additional 20% discount off a future booking if made within a specified time frame. I’ve seen other posts regarding this extra discount. Has this extra discount been stopped? Was it available to UK based/booked cruises? Will i I get another letter with this offer? Does anyone in the UK know anything? Regards
penlanspice Posted June 18, 2020 #2 Share Posted June 18, 2020 The offer would of been in the email, our cancelled cruise in May we had the 125 percent plus the additional 20 percent off a new booking, for our cruise that was cancelled last week the email stated 125 cruise credit and 10 percent off a new booking, we spoke with our cruise consultant and told her we weren't happy as we had the 20 percent off the current cruise and she said that offer had finished and we couldn't have it. Give them a ring or email and ask for the discount. The discounts will come off online when you get to the payment page.

ged1967 Posted June 22, 2020 Author #4 Share Posted June 22, 2020 That’s a pain. I was hoping for the extra discount too! 😟
Budget Queen Posted June 23, 2020 #5 Share Posted June 23, 2020 This round did not come with any future cruise- booking discount. The last one expired 5-31.
rachiem Posted June 23, 2020 #6 Share Posted June 23, 2020 I was offered the extra discount from a cancelled Mch sailing. The prices were still more expensive than we had paid with that discount included (Sept 2021)
