We've sailed with Princess 9 times, and book with the standard casino discount all of the time, however, I only get free sailing offers from HAL, with whom we've only sailed with once. HAL mails me me every month with free offers, or highly discounted offers.

We prefer Princess over HAL, and even wrote the Princess casino department about the fact that HAL is offering us so much more, and Princess did nothing, so we are now starting to book with HAL. I'd much rather have a free cruise, instead of free gratuities, or free laundry. We recently booked a "Casino VIP" 14 day FLL to Amsterdam for a third of the going rate, with priority embarkation/disembarkation, drinks, parties, tournaments, and casino cash.

well you and Georgie let me/us know how this worked out.

I just booked this offer for a 10-day Caribbean voyage in March of 2020.

I too had FCC available.  I could not use any funds towards the port fees and taxes or the $200.00 deposit per person.

I will tell you that I was able to an FCC towards the Princess Plus package that includes unlimited beverages, gratuities, and WIFI,  The amount of the FCC has to be less than the amount of the upgrade,  I had a FCC with a value of approx. $150.00 that I used towards the Princess Plus.

The Free Cruise ended up costing me almost $1,200.00, but I will have $400 in OBC with beverages, gratuities, and wifi.  There is no where else you can go for $60 per day per person for an all-inclusive vacation for 10-days.  Princess is taking care of their Casino Players.

Can’t wait to set sail!

I’m curious as to the date of your booked cruise, March 2020, which has passed.

Checking my recent Island Princess booking (10 day Oktoberfest from Southampton 2021), now $250. shows on my account as getting a casino credit.  Initially this cruise wasn't on the list and prior cruise (22 day Grand Adventure) my TA was told it didn't qualify.

I only get offers for 30-35% off list prices and casino free play offers of $250-$400.

I am a Platinum member on Princess and take a 7 day cruise to the Caribbean once a year and usually spend 2-3 hours in the casino every night at the craps table with $15-$30 bets with pass line and come line with odds.

Can I assume people getting offers for free cruises either cruise a lot more or gamble a lot more?
