Seville2Cabo Posted July 14, 2020 #1 Share Posted July 14, 2020 We are looking at 2 TP cruises for spring 2022. 16 days with 3 ports on Quantum or 17 days with 5 ports on Radiance. GS to GS, Radiance is $2,200 more. We like the extra ports (both in NZ), but trying to justify all the extra money for 2 ports and one day. Comments or suggestions? Chiliburn Posted July 14, 2020 #2 Share Posted July 14, 2020 I’d go for quantum, more to offer (Coastal kitchen) at a lower price. Ovation should be there somewhere.
crzndeb Posted July 14, 2020 #3 Share Posted July 14, 2020 The Ovation is the most expensive, but I do like it’s 11 night prior cruise to NZ, before it does the TP. I’m eyeing that B2B. I am booked on the B2B Apr/May 2021, Singapore-Yokohama, and then the TP to Seattle, on the Ovation. Fingers crossed it still goes. I’m with Chiliburn and go with Quantum. 2 NZ ports wouldn’t be worth the money to me, and the Quantum class offers more.
js4rq Posted July 15, 2020 #4 Share Posted July 15, 2020 We had the same dilemma but it was a no brainer. We booked the Quantum transpacific cruise as it was significantly cheaper and came with OBC. We did the Ovation transpacific cruise with only French Polynesia ports last year and still had a great cruise!

I agree...the 11 night NZ cruise looks great! That was our determining factor....which cruise prior to TP we liked better.
Seville2Cabo Posted July 16, 2020 Author #6 Share Posted July 16, 2020 Thank you for the feedback. We did decide on the Quantum. Our TA has 2 GS’s on hold (us and another couple). The crazy thing is the price for the GS was $300 more than the Jr S with large balcony. Factor in internet for 16 days and a no brainer. Our friends do not get C&A drinks, so a real deal for them.
