Anyone know if they had reduced capacity on that cruise? The pictures and videos I’m seeing don’t show a crowed ship.

They said on the MSC fan page they are sailing with 1500 passengers out of 3500.

I had read that the Grandiosa holds 6200 passengers and that they were sailing at 40% capacity or about 2500 including the CEO of MSC.

This was in an article written on August 16 and sent to me on August 19 from the Cruise Critic insider.

I saw a video said 70% and someone said the italy cruise has people getting off and boarding at different ports, that's why occupancy can vary 30%, 50% and maxed out at 70%. They said it varys as people get on and off. That's why you hear more than one figure. Idk
