Rare lyndarra Posted February 19 #13206 Share Posted February 19 Somehow the picture ended up on top instead of below. For anyone with an eagle eye there is a hint in the picture.

Rare lyndarra Posted February 20 #13209 Share Posted February 20 Hmmm. The plaque is readable on my file copy but it seems CC reduces the definition when uploaded. It is a scenic spot spoiled by the fence put up by the local council because of asbestos contamination. So, here's a better hint - off the plaque. Rare lyndarra Posted February 20 #13211 Share Posted February 20 Correct. Your turn. The stone cairn is a memorial to Sgt Lyndsay who lost life while trying to rescue people who had capsized their boat in Swansea channel.

Rare cruiser3775 Posted February 21 #13214 Share Posted February 21 (edited) Wow, that was quick! Correct. It's taken from the coast road from Cape Patterson to Inverloch, which is a great coastal drive and not nearly as well known as the Great Ocean road.
