mugtech Posted August 31, 2020 #1 Share Posted August 31, 2020 According to MSN there is a veteran of 27 years in the cruise industry who is running tours with his ferries out of England. The ships come within 50 meters of the "Ghost Ships", which are current empty ships waiting for business to resume. Supposedly he is doing great business for himself, as many seem eager to view the stranded ships, which includes three RCI ships.
Jimmy_g88 Posted August 31, 2020 #2 Share Posted August 31, 2020 There is a company running cruises 3 times per week from a seaside town called Poole, sailing to the anchored ships. We’re booked to go Saturday night 😊
Bead Pirate Posted August 31, 2020 #3 Share Posted August 31, 2020 The Victory Casino ship goes out of Port Canaveral Wed-Sun and sails out three miles... all we do is weave between the cruise ships floating out there. We get close enough to see the staff sitting on the balconies... Have to wear mask and gloves if you go, but still a way to get a few hours of "sea legs" and have a little fun!

BND Posted August 31, 2020 #7 Share Posted August 31, 2020 I don't get why anyone wants to see the outside of the ship. No appeal at all. But, whatever floats their boat I guess lol.
