Princess Casino Comp Offers

Weird. I posted that there are very few free cruises available now to me and just checked the Princess site to find that all cruises under 20 days are free insides and even some longer than 20 days.  This is the way it used to be.   Hopefully, casino will lighten up some with points and PP.

No such luck.  I was unable to access the site last week and when I could most of the free cruises were gone.  I now only have some VIP cruises to choose from which expires 9/15.   I have not gotten any offers for a while and I used to get an offer every other week.      There just dosent seem to be any rational or reasoning to anything the casino does.

Maybe it depends when was your last cruise?

We just did AK cruise earlier this month, and I got (EARNED) my best ever Come back & Play offer.

Today, I got an email for something I've never heard of.... Diamond Cruise.

It seems to be identical to my CBS from the ship.  So I checked the dates?

Its Another one, in addition to the one I received after my cruise.

Wow, its like the pendulum has swung back to really great comps.

These 2 latest are book by mid-Nov. 

Pleasantly surprised.

Hope you get some new ones coming in very soon.

I am not much a gambler but dropped a couple hundred dollars in the casino slots, mostly on a day the port was canceled.  It seems like it might be worth it to gamble some.  I think I will set aside a couple hundred bucks for each cruise to piss away on the slots. 

 

My TA was able to re-fare all of my booked cruises because of a casino offers that I didn't even realize I had.  One cruise went from 2100 to 1600.  It looks like they comp'd, drinks, wifi, casino credit, on board credit, etc.  It says "complimentary $514" on the cruise info now when I look at the drink package.

 

So I lost less than I was discounted which works out if you plan on cruising anyways.

 

I was just on a royal cruise that had a cow game that was compelling.  Attack From Planet Moolah.  I hope a princess ship I go on will have that one.

My mom who cruised with me a couple years ago, still gets regular email offers from

Princess casinos.  So if anyone is wondering if your offers continue after time....or if you only sailed on Princess ONE time?   Hers offers sure have.

I recall she played 7,000 points. 

Her current email offer is for Hearts, comp Balcony, approx $400 FP, No Plus perks.

I received the Diamonds, but you only have the choice of 2 Carrib trips in March, out of Ft.Laud.

Since I used my latest CBS for Panama Canal booking in Feb.,

we don't plan to return to FLL in March.

considering.  I expected more... got $600 freeplay, balcony & PP.

 

Has anyone else had their return offer lately, be smaller than in the past?

Came back from a 16 day cruise where 4 days were in Hawaii so no gambling those days over 10,000 points and no offer at all

Never got a bounce back but saw some possible deals on line so called CVP and got some good deals for 2025 including a re fare of an existing cruise. Was able to get free room, plus and a little free play. Not quite as good as before but not bad

I did get a Hearts and Ultimate Hearts VIP cruise.  Booked the Hearts and looking to book the Ultimate Hearts.  I never heard of diamonds.  Is that a Prestige Cruise?

 

It really stinks that 21k only netted you a balcony.  That used to be a mini suite, PP and 1500 FP.  I think that you will get better offers in the mail and email.  Hopefully a mini suite with better perks.

Personally we have not gotten any bounce back, snail mail or email deals. However by accident I clicked on a trip we had looked at before and lo and behold there were offers. Got ahold of our CVP and rebooked 2 cruises and saved around $13,000 on a 16 day Panama and a 17 day Alaska. Included plus and some free play

To add insult to injury, I was mistaken.  The CBS offer was only 600FP and Balcony.

***NO Plus PERKS!

Needless to say that is LAME for that kind of play, and I won't be using that offer.😣

Technically, I wouldn't have.... but I found the Host (always go to casino before end of cruise)

and talked to her. 

She said I should have gotten one, and didn't know why mine wasn't delivered?

So she reprinted one for me, while I sat in casino and Didn't play. 

After seeing the bounceback, I was definately done.

Yes I think Diamonds is prestige (going off the top of my head) but I'm Not using it.

Diamonds was like you said, mini with 1500FP yada, but only on a couple cruises in March,

out of Ft.Laud.  Which is fine if you live near there.

We are West coast, and I prefer not to use my potential FP  for airfare.

If they had the same deal from This side of the country?  I would probably do it.

 

And youre right, like I shared on post above, 21k Points earned, for a balcony & low FP,

is NOT good.  So player beware.

I got off the Caribbean Princess 12 day Quebec -FLL on October 31. My come back offer was for a balcony cabin up to 14 days with NO plus and $600 free play. I have to take the cruise before May 28,2024. I finished with 21K points too! I expected a better offer. However, I won a jackpot for $11,131! That has me smiling but still in shock that I didn't get the princess plus.

I researched Diamonds on the FB group and it's different from Prestige.  They put you up in a hotel in Fort Lauderdale and there is a party where you meet the Princess execs. The hotel was the airport Hilton for the last group so not too fancy. The party was there also.  You get a gift delivered to your cabin every night and a few other perks.  Might be worth calling a PVP to find out all the perks.  It's supposed to be only for the high rollers.

Somebody posted on the FB group that they just got off the Regal yesterday with 12,000 points and received a CB offer for free balcony and 600 FP.   It's so frustrating that there is no uniformity or transparency with the casino.

If you don't start receiving offers for mini suites and 1500 FP, I would call the casino.  People are still reporting 20,000 and above getting mini suites and 11,000 Balconies.

I've been receiving a ton of offers in snail mail for many of the same as above. Hearts offers, tourneys, etc.  But got an email offer of free balcony, 650 fp, AND Plus package.  Booking was a mess.  Only got 400 fp, NO plus package.  Call to rectify sketchy, with a promise to call me back 4 days later.  Attempt to email casino with issue came back autoreply I've never seen before.

It's not looking good for dealing with anyone outside of the call center.  And most of those interactions are difficult to say the least.

I just got a big problem fixed yesterday thanks to new CVP.  (My other one went mia, gone)

anyway...... called the main cvp # to talk with another one and think I found a good one.

 

I had a similar issue, old cvp booked my cbs offer from the ship.... all the PPerks were

showing on the Service Summary print out, but my 1,000 Freeplay was never added. 

I seriously got the runaround (and called the dreaded call center, that promised

it would be fixed in a couple days, but of course it never was.)

 

New cvp got it fixed!

I just printed it out (always keep paper trail proof or at least photos on your phone)

All looks correct, and its a big sigh of relief!

We should Not have to jump thru hoops like this for simple bookings.

I ONLY plan to work with cvp from now on.

Casino Dept is GONE, and dealing with the Call center is a deal breaker!

 

I say get cvp, asap

And if yours cvp goes mia like mine did?
