Wondering out loud if the Prestige benefits outweigh what I'm assuming are more crowds and tougher-to-get-a-seat problems on that Prestige cruise.

I'm thinking I'd want to avoid a gambler event cruise just to have more elbow room...

Not only that the more crowded it is the more smoke in the casino.  The benefits of princess plus and transportation to and from the port plus the prestige extras are very nice.  The last prestige I was on was in Sept. 2023 to the British Isles and it was pretty crowded at night.  I may have to gamble a little more during the day.

Casino was busier than usual in the eveninings. Lots of action on craps table. No extra crowd for blackjack though. At least this was my Prestige cruise experience.

Just got off the Sky Princess on March 9th.  Think this was my 3rd Prestige cruise in a year.  Your Executive casino host will email you and everything is done through her, from the car service/parking to which package you prefer last time she even sent a separate survey which was kinda weird but ok.  And on the cruises my husband was with me he was also included in the dinner with the host.

I received emails from Moveo  to give them flight details and pick up time for the return trip.  Although it states they will meet you at baggage claim that has not been my experience likely due to  airport regulations regarding unattended vehicles.  They asked me to pick up my bags and call them with the number above the door where I exited from.

The driver did call me almost as soon as the wheels touched down but with all the plane chatter I basically told him I'd call as soon as I was off the plane.  They are very prompt and professional.

Had a great cruise and am busy planning my next one, have fun!!

Curious on the Prestige cruises, do you gamble more then you normally do on a regular cruise?

Usually less, the casino is incredibly busy and can be difficult to get on a machine.  The smoke in there can be pretty bad and it seems all the machines I like to play are in the smoking section,  I can only stay in that area so long then I am gone.

By playing less does that seem to hurt your offers?

I guess I should qualify that, I spend less time in a session but will go back more than once.

So overall you gamble about the same amount only in more sessions? That’s what I experienced taking casino trips in the past. Kinda irritates my wife who doesn’t gamble a lot!

We are booked in April also, just curious if you have received the email yet, asking which parking/pick up offer you would like?

Thanks!

(We sail Apr 4th to Hawaii on the Crown)

Have you heard anything at all?

Were on same cruise, and still crickets from Prestige host whoevers?

I've sent emails to a casino host that I know of on a different ship, and to

customer service TWICE.  Cvp sent an email to casino whoevers.

Nobody has responded.😖

(I just sent a third email to 4 different Princess casino emails, asking

does Anyone help Prestige guests?)

Nope. Nothing…my plan was to give them until Friday (tomorrow) and then if I still haven’t heard anything I’m gonna start calling again. Not the way you would expect them to treat their guests receiving Prestige offers.

Hoping we hear something VERY soon🤞

Well, I called again...this time I was told they would be reaching out 10-15 days before sail date!  Feeling less and less comfortable about this.  She also said we could just drive to the parking lot at there would be a Princess representative there to take care of us, (in the case that we did not receive an e-mail from a Casino Host/Hostess before sail date).  She said we would be reimbursed...I asked her how would I know which parking garage they were using - she gave me the address for the 80 Francisco St Garage a couple blocks away.  Have you by chance used this garage before?

P.s. Any news from any of your many emails you sent out?

The hosts are just disembarking today from the second Diamond Prestige cruise.  I was on the first week and they were incredibly busy and all the Executive hosts were onboard the Sky then the Caribbean Princess.

The Executive hosts are the only ones who deal with the arrangements for the Prestige cruises calling Princess or your PVP will not speed up their process.  if you’re self parking just bring your receipt on board with you for reimbursement.

They will contact you in plenty of time to ask which perk you want and for Moveo to set up your transportation if using the car service.  Takes 2 minutes to give them your flight info.

Please be patient they haven’t forgotten you.

Thanks for your input…As I mentioned in my last post, calling Princess did give me the same info about getting reimbursed, so they actually were helpful!
As far as being patient, waiting on a phone call to verify that you will have a spot to park on the day you embark, I feel, is pushing it a bit…do we reserve a spot in advance, only to finally receive a call saying that we have a paid spot waiting for us? This is where the anxiety starts 😊

Maybe this will help.FYI they will not prepay your parking.

• Parking

If you are driving to the port yourself, we will reimburse you for parking at the port for the full cruise length. Please bring your receipt with you to the casino on embarkation day to receive your cash.

You’re very welcome.  Prestige cruises are awesome  I’ve met some really nice people and if you chose dinner with the host it’s always a fun experience with excellent wines and service.

Please clarify the $150 spa perk is that for you and your guest of just for you.

We’ve each gotten one and put it towards a hot stone massage.  Solo cruises I usually opt for a mani/pedi.

The last prestige cruise I was on in September 2023 my husband had $150 spa credit and I had $150 spa credit.  Have they changed it so that it is $150 spa credit to be shared if you bring a guest?

Yes thats the parking garage we always use.  Be ready to be charged $352 for our cruise

parking.  Thats why I wanted some Verification before we Paid that.

(I was going to have a family member drop us off & pickup. I'd rather give them $352)

It sounds easy enough to get reimbursed onboard, but Who does it?

And does it Really happen?  We have NOT felt like Prestige so far!

Reason I'm hesitant paying, is because last cruise I had to go to Cust service 5 different times

to TRY to get my FCC that was supposedly applied to this cruise, but I never got it!

Finally talked to Finance Mgr (in Cust Serv dept) and he gave me lip service as well.

It was never corrected.  $200 FCC down the drain.

So I'm not feeling warm & fuzzy believing what they say.....
