Anyone who ever watched the show, will know that episode was filmed on board!

During a trip to Acapulco, Columbo learns of a murder that had taken place on the cruise ship, and he is asked by the ships captain to take on the case; he uncovers a discovers that a blackmailing plot that is connected to the murder.

The original Sun Princess was my very first cruise, back in 1988.  

 

Dinners in the dining room were fab!  Pasta was delicious!

 

The itinerary was:  Miami - St. Martin - Martinique -  St. Thomas - concluding in  San Juan.  

 

What a trip!

But have to say I lost count how many times they said "It's a ship" ...    🧐
