An article by The Points Guy, Top cruise line executive: We’ll be back to full deployment within a year, is in today's Washington Post and on The Points Guy website (https://thepointsguy.com/news/cruise-ship-return-one-year/).  The interview is with Rick Sasso, Chairman of MSC Cruises North America.  “Our ambition is to be fully operational by October (of 2021), even as soon as next summer.”

I am ready to return to cruising and I feel confident that safety protocols will be in place at least for the first few months of cruising. My only concern is the port state and what may or may not be quarantine rules in place when we sail.

As the reporter mentioned, an election will soon occur.  What might the prospect be if a new Administration had a different view than our current Vice-President?  

 

So many questions about so many things and not just cruising.  And, no good answers.
