Indeed it is, it was a lovely evening walk in the rain. White Night was cancelled but we’d run ahead of a fierce storm and it was special to be ashore

One of my favourite places for pizza at the Pizzaria Aurora. It's Sorrento. 

 

I hope you and Carol are doing ok during this crazy time. Our travel pictures help, right?

We’re fine thank you Phil hopefully 2021 will see a return to normality, looking back through our photos for this thread has reminded us of good times traveling and yes it’s Sorrento.

My other guess was Picton but the angle of the shot didn't look quite right.  I have wonderful memories of our South Pacific cruise in January.

Rarotonga? Not this January though as it was covered in cloud and we didn't stop.  Not been to any other South Pacific Islands (apart from Tahiti).  Hilary

Hillary, Riocca got it. It's Moorea. A much prettier island than Bora Bora I think.

I really regret not making that extra effort to go to Moorea whilst we were in Papeete prior to our cruise.  I doubt we will go back to that part of the world.

Agree Phil, much preferred Raiatea and Moorea to Bora Bora which is over hyped and overpriced. Are the chickens still running free everywhere on Moorea?
