Radiance after balconies.

I've been fortunate enough to sail in the rarely available 1100 JS. Not only is it great value for money (ie: HUGE balcony/personal space) with amazing views, it had no soot issues at all. In fact I was surprised to see this question.

If you can get this stateroom then do it! You won't be disappointed.

P.S Absolute worse case scenario, if your balcony is dirty for whatever reason, I have no doubt that your stateroom attendant will keep it clean, especially if you mention your concerns to them.

Called down to the Pursers' Desk (probably should've called another dept.) but they didn't want to hear it.  Just said they'd pass on the info.

Yikes...and with being burned by the jerk...literally.  They sure should have done something promptly.  Hope neither of us has to run into someone like that on future cruises.
