Can you apply multiple FCC’s to one booking?

With the latest round of cancelations, I now have 3 FCC vouchers. I would like to apply all 3 to one new booking for December 2021. I called MSC today but the agent that I spoke to said that I could only apply one FCC per booking. I asked what I can do with the other two and she said that I could book 2 additional cruises which is not what I’d like to do. 🤯

 

Has anybody had any success applying multiple FCC’s to one booking? I want to believe that the information that I was given over the phone isn’t accurate, which is why I’m posting this thread. If it’s indeed accurate, I’ll figure things out, but I don’t want to give in before asking here. Any information that anybody can provide will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks. I guess I can apply the highest of the three credits and request a refund on the other 2. It will still be a decent deal.

I asked this about my cancelled April cruises since I had booked a B2B.

 

So far, the only line I've come across that allows this is HAL (to which I applied 3 FCCs).  Wish Carnival allowed it because I've had, oh, at least 5 cancellations so far.  Of course, I don't sail all lines, so there may be others out there that allow it.

 

I was thinking of rebooking for December, but the prices for almost identical sailings (but w/o the overnights at Ocean Cay) and very much higher than what I'd booked.  I had a balcony for April and price for the cheapest interior in December is only about $50 less.  That's why I had hoped to apply both FCCs to just a 7-night sailing.  I'm leaning toward requesting a refund from the 5-night and keeping the FCC from the 7-night since I'm not sure how to fit another couple of cruises in.  My 2022 is pretty full already with all my rebookings and a Lift & Shift on X.

 

Oh well.  I've said all along that once sailing resumes, with so many people having FCCs to apply, combined with the pent-up demand and reduced ship inventory (across all lines), that prices were going to spike.  It's just supply and demand.  If the demand isn't there, the prices will come back down.

The FCC I got last year stated I had to use it on a cruise before 12/31/21.  I have a June cruise booked with it.  If that one is cancelled do I still have to use it on a cruise before 12/31/21 or have they extended new FCC to a new date?

The 7 night sailing that I had booked for May is about the same price as the 5 night sailing in December that I’m now booking. Initially,  the per day cost of the 5 night is considerably more expensive, but with the 25% FCC compensation, the per day cost becomes almost identical. It’s a washout. 
 

Although the price for this sailing (aboard MSC Seashore) is indeed higher, it’s still considerably cheaper than what other cruise lines are charging for similar 5 night cruises departing the same day from the same port. It’s for the week before Christmas and there are several shorter sailings offered. For comparison, a 5 night sailing on Symphony of the Seas departing that same date also from Miami is 4 times more expensive than my sailing on the Seashore. Norwegian Joy is 2 times more. Even reliably budget friendly Carnival is more expensive than MSC for that particular date/cruise length/port of departure. 
 

I had 3 FCC vouchers. I have now requested a refund on the first 2 (lesser value) and will apply the 1 remaining (which has the biggest compensation of the 3) to this new sailing.

I don't have my FCCs from the April cancellations, yet.  The 7-night was paid-in-full but the 4 night was not, so I'm not exactly sure what the FCC will be for that one (it was an incredibly low fare).  I'll probably request a refund for that.

 

I was thinking of booking the 7-night Armonia on 12/3 since I have a 12-night on HAL on 12/11.  That would give me a night in between sailings in either Miami or Ft Lauderdale.  Of course, at this point, we don't even know if I can do the 12-night!  It's really a 7+5 (have friends on the 5-night).  It's a re-booking of a re-booking already.  But now I have a casino offer from HAL and could add the 7-night on 12/4 for $200 for an interior w/$250 casino credit and DOU.  I have their All-In for the 12-night.

 

I have to book by 3/19 so I need to make a decision.  Of course, it's a non-refundable deposit for the casino offer and I'm not sure I want to do that.

 

Nice "problem" to have, though, right?

 

ms - as for the FCC "use by" date, I believe that if/when June is cancelled, your "new" FCC will have an updated date.  I don't think it reverts to the original date, but since this is my first round of cancellations on MSC, I'm not positive.

Agreed! If how I will apply FCC’s is one of the top concerns in my mind at this time, I will consider myself a very blessed man. 🙏🏼

As some said, no. The FCc is one per booking shell. We had b2b and they won’t roll any unused over to a second booking. Instead they issue a new fcc after sailing. We hope to use all the fcc once they sail again and not lose it...

their cs landslide is terrible.
