Suez Canal

Have read that passage through the Canal takes approximately 11 hours. 

We arrive at the Canal at 11PM and depart at 6PM the next day.

Do you think we do not move much during the night so passengers do not miss the view?

I don’t have a  answer but a search got me times to transit the canal from11-16 hours.  I  believe they do travel during the night as I have read reviews of the ships sailing blacked out.  You may want to ask your question on the main Azamara Board.

Some of the journey through the canal has always been at night the 3 times I’ve done the route. The view is pretty similar for a lot of the time through the canal - Sandy banks, a high bank on one side with occasional troops (who love you to wave as you pass them) and occasional small settlements, individual houses etc.
