Depends on your butler. Mine was included on the Equinox. The butler just asked me to let him know what water and soft drinks I wanted.

Also, be on the lookout for a deal pre-cruise. Now what the offer world looks like once we start sailing again is a complete unknown, but on our last cruise (Summit, 2 weeks before the shut down), we were in Aqua class. Before we sailed we got an offer to add everything in the minibar to our drink package...restocked daily...plus a $50 casino credit PER PERSON in the state room. All that for $120, total, both people included. So it effectively cost $20 for full access to the minibar for the whole week. Obviously, you already had to have the drink package. We talked to the room steward on the first day, and he would had it restocked daily with the alcohol I liked and the beer and wine mama liked. Now how and if such an offer is made to the suite clientele is unknown. Hitting the bar in the Retreat for a drink when you want one should be easy enough.

Not in my experience but based on just one Edge sailing. But I have been on many sailings on M-Class and S-Class ships in suites and I can say that the Edge-class suite experience wins by a mile IMO. For example for afternoon tea on Edge there was a small buffet area to help yourself and a small bar with a couple of wines etc to self pour. On the M and S we were served. From what I read, the MC only moves a couple times a day, and at times you are unlikely to bein your room. I understand the orange pillars are there for the two suites on the outer edge, but the balconies are a bit larger, aren't they? Also, if anyone knows how many suites a butler services, that would be good info. We travel with a group of 8, and we will have 4 suites next to each other. Since our schedules are usually all in sync, we'd love to have the same butler service all 4 cabins. That could make for some fun times. Always curious of both positive and negative views. Here's a video on YouTube of one of the Sky Suites on the edge of the Magic Carpet- It looks like the orange pillar does provide a bit of obstruction, but the balcony is very large and has a window on the left-hand side as well. We went on a similar cruise and you are correct, the Magic Carpet didn't seem to move that often, and when it did, we weren't in our room. It was our first cruise with Celebrity, and we were kind of bummed that the Magic Carpet doesn't move while you are on it! That would have been much more appealing to us. YMMV.

Thanks for posting that video. We are in the corresponding Sky Suite 3 on the 7th deck for back to back Apex cruises next year, and this video makes me think we made a great choice.
