Ah ok, soz. I was scratching my head trying to work out now what was wrong with the pdf daily vikings I'd posted! lol

 

in the end she packed a small mirror which she took in her case. I'd completely forgotten about the mirror!

Thanks so much for the dailies - I'm on the Sea at the end of November (TA), so they offered me a bit of a preview for what we might expect on our many sea days.

A couple of questions for you - 

Did passengers need reservations to use the gym?

Was it difficult to get reservations for the spa (hot/cold pools)?

Were you able to explore ports on your own?

Cannot wait till we are on the ship next week.

Gym reservations easily secured but some just walked in and used the gym with nobody there
I got a couple hot/cold spa pool reservations, no problem whatsoever
Only Malta allowed full self exploration EXCEPT that on Santorini our guide allowed 20 minutes exploration or shopping and at end of Oia tour and on Crete we were let loose on port for ~20 minutes

Gym was hardly used and don't think bookings was needed.

 

Spa did need bookings but was always very easy. They placed number limitations on the number of people in each pool or room. We always got a time we chose on the day, so again, it wasn't over subscribed. That included the second sea day, but suspect a TA will be booked more.

 

In Croatia and Malta, we could tour on our own.

Finally made a start to editing and have just posted Viking Sea arriving at Sibenik. 100 minutes condensed to 10 minutes!

The last charter flight  on LF from Newark to Malta leaves on Monday evening.  

 Got a nice email from Viking  with an emergency number to use if we have any problems with traveling   for this cruise. Nice touch. 

On the  last Welcome back cruise from home port of Malta. We end in Barcelona.

I've been reading rumors of Viking using a different port for Barcelona, so I'll be interested to see if you actually end in Barcelona.

LOL, we better  end in Barcelona. We are staying an extra day at a great boutique hotel .

 I will be doing a live trip report starting this weekend, so stay tuned.

 If your rumors are form that  social media site, I would ignore it.
