Come on Princess....a round trip from LA to Alaska

Carnival cruise line has just released a 2023 schedule which has a couple of round trip to Alaska from LA.  It has a great itinerary including Sitka. I have done this cruise before on Princess and it is great.   But nothing like that showing up for Princess yet. Hopefully when Princess releases 2023 cruises, they will have a similar cruise.

Yes. We did one of those when they were first offered. Not our favorite cruise (lousy weather & cold, rainy in every port), but I'd be will to try it again.

We absolutely loved the Los Angeles-Alaska roundtrippers on Princess.  We did it three times, and look forward to doing it more.  If Princess does not offer it, then, clearly, this Carnival offering attracts our attention,  I agree that the itinerary is great.  It has been 20 years since we have been to Sitka, and our one visit to Icy Strait Point was outstanding.  We are, very much, looking to visting there again.  

 

It looks like the Carnival offering only two dates in 2023 for this itinerary--either the beginning or the end of the AK cruise season.  Both are excellent times to go.  For those who are disappointed when port venues are crowded by thousands of cruises off-loading from multiple ships, that problem is ameliorated by these beginning/end-of-season cruises.

Good price too , we used to sail Carnival a lot we were many years younger and the ship left 2 miles from our house in Mobile . I do like Carnival Miracle .
