Would We Make It?

The flights going to be boarding by 9:45, you've got to be at the airport probably by 9:15 to get out to the gate, getting off the ship and taxi and travel time, yea, maybe.  But things like this make the last day of the cruise too nervous.  I wouldn't try it.  It is recommended not before noon.  My opinion.

There is no way I would book a flight that early in Miami.  The ship will probably dock before 7:00 AM but port authorities will board the ship to inspect it before passengers will be allowed to disembark.  Port inspections can be quick or drawn out, it’s a game of chance.  Then, even with facial recognition going through customs will take a bit of time.  Getting a cab to the airport shouldn’t be a problem. The times I’ve flown out of Miami going through security was a long slow process.  It’s possible you could make that flight but why stress yourself.

Not in the current situation. TSA is taking a lot longer to screen with social distancing, before Covid I would have said yes. Allow extra time or you could miss your flight. I wouldnt do a 10:45 but that is me.
