We are fully vaccinated. I'm so jealous! We signed up for this cruise. When my husband called with a question about transportation from the airport, we were told that the September 12th cruise was open only to UK residents and cancelled our trip. I wondered if we should wait until the UK makes their latest announcement and try again....

Rare FionaMG Posted July 28, 2021 #29 Share Posted July 28, 2021 Well, hopefully when the US does eventually re-open they will be willing to accept vaccines that have been approved by the relevant health authorities, in the same way the UK has now said they will accept EMA- and FDA-approved vaccines. I note that today's announcement also includes the resumption of international cruises so that's something to celebrate too.

irishgal432 Posted July 28, 2021 #31 Share Posted July 28, 2021 So it states no quarantine or Day 8 test but a Day 2 test is required. We hopefully be boarding in Southhampton, and not familiar with the area, is there a location close to there we could book a test.

TXRANCHER Posted August 10, 2021 Author #33 Share Posted August 10, 2021 Doesn't matter anymore. RCL has canceled my cruise on October 20th. So won't be flying to the UK and wont be transiting to the Cruise Ship at Southampton.
