Threw me for a minute when they mentioned the five "alternating restaurants."  I then realized they probably meant "alternative restaurants."

I did like the mention of Chef's specials in YC, but I always thought they had that  in practice now.

They’ve always had ‘Chef’s special’ on Gala nights, even in steerage.   Don’t know if this reference is about something other than that.

Had a similar reaction at first to the “alternating restaurants” 😁

"Today, people want more options and choices, they are also keen to try new things,

...putting a higher quality on sourcing and quality ingredients for the company’s purchasing department."

Quality over quantity when it comes to food...even on a cruise. There's no reason why MSC can't improve both.

We’ve never had a problem with quantity but there’s certainly a need for an improvement in quality.

We’re booked on Seashore in October in steerage (before our March YC sailing) so will be very interested in the new buffet set-up.

I find there must be a gastronomical Italian restaurant on the new ships of MSC with fine Italian wines ( and I do not intend fine is the same as "expensive )  but wines we do not know  very well or the wines not for export - like the wines from Campania or Liguria

Maybe I am wrong but why a Spanish inspired tapa bar on an Italian company ?

Very excited - on our first MSC on Divina in September then just booked Seashore for April. The Yacht Club won us over from the Haven at NCL - crazy expensive. The ships look wonderful, but I do think it's odd that the Italian eatery Eataly did not go over well on an Italian ship - seems odd, right?
