hollyjess Posted August 22, 2021 #1 Share Posted August 22, 2021 My uncle who is 81 years a wheelchair part time. Does not use in cabin but will need it to get around the ship. Do you have to have an accessible cabin for a folding wheelchair as it will fit in cabin easily.

No folding wheelchairs can be used in any cabin without any problems but they do ask you to ensure its stored in your cabin and not in the corridor. Not to our knowledge, always been okay, but must be stored in the cabin. We also, always notified the company prior to booking.Suggest you do likewise. purplesea Posted August 22, 2021 #5 Share Posted August 22, 2021 My mother is in the same situation. She has a folding wheelchair which she needs to get around the ship and has an ordinary cabin booked. We did inform the company when we booked.
