Aurora on way to Cadiz

She is now, "home" in Weymouth.

I am wondering if she went off for repair work, but the matter resolved itself during the journey, hence the twirl just south of Portugal, to test something out.  We could speculate for ever though.......

As far as unusual and interesting ship movements are concerned, this was certainly up there.

The stop alongside at Portland just before heading off on her joyride was also a little unexpected for me. (No expert!)

Like tring says, we could speculate forever, but it's good to see her back!

3 weeks ago on our Iona cruise we had inspectors aboard checking out certification, she passed. Maybe something similar for Aurora? That pirouette off Portugal might have been a man overboard exercise?

An interesting possibility, or perhaps just a training exercise.
