amberjohn Posted September 17, 2021 #1 Share Posted September 17, 2021 We are planning on traveling to NJ on Saturday 10/17/21 the day before our cruise. We usually do a package that includes 1 night at the hotel, parking for the length of the cruise and, a shuttle to the port and back and breakfast. Since cruises are just starting up we are having trouble finding hotels that offer this package. Can anyone points us in the right direction? Thanks...

JillK Posted September 17, 2021 #4 Share Posted September 17, 2021 We have booked for this package for March 2022 at Hilton Garden Inn Ridgefield Park where we stayed the last time we cruised out of NYC in December 2018. I was able to find the rate using the Hilton website.... select the room type and hit the "more prices available" button.... scroll to the bottom of that list and click "show more rates".... that's where they are hiding the "Park, Ride and Cruise" rate and the "Park and Cruise" rate (no shuttle). Auntiemomo Posted September 17, 2021 #5 Share Posted September 17, 2021 Check on the East Coast Departures Board: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/317-east-coast-departures/ Country Inn & Suites on International Boulevard in Elizabeth is one that has park & sleep and transport to the pier. Rare Got2Cruise Posted September 17, 2021 #6 Share Posted September 17, 2021 I would call any of the properties directly to confirm if they are indeed offering the transfer to the terminal.

Many hotels in the area do offer Cruise Packages. They are not advertised on their websites, you just need to call the hotel and ask for it explicitly. And make sure to ask about what’s included in the package. Some just offer extended parking for the duration of the cruise, some also provide shuttle to the port and additional perks, like the late check-out. mimi05052012 Posted October 5, 2021 #8 Share Posted October 5, 2021 We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn before our 9/26 cruise on Breakaway. We’ve done this a few times before and it works out well. This time we did not have a private car but instead six of us were taken to port in very large SUV. Worked out fine. One couple was doing B2B so there were four of us on return. We met on ship and disembarked together. Was easy to meet driver across street and two blocks to the left on 50th. Breakfast was continental breakfast. I’d swear hot breakfast was included in the past. One of the items we ordered was about the same price as continental breakfast so waitress didn’t charge us for it. Total cost was about $350. That’s less than hotel, breakfast, tolls, pier parking would be. If cruise package doesn’t show up under additional rates, I’d suggest calling them directly.
