dorisdvu Posted November 1, 2021 #1 Share Posted November 1, 2021 Do you get any price break on drink packages for 14 days? Does the RU9 discount apply to the longer cruises or just the shorter ones?

K_e_short Posted November 1, 2021 #3 Share Posted November 1, 2021 I have a free drink package for a 12 day cruise. When I logged in it showed cruises 3 days and longer. I don't know what the longest cruise that was offered as once I booked two cruises the offer disappeared.
Cruisesfun65 Posted November 1, 2021 #4 Share Posted November 1, 2021 Just so you know, the RU9 code is the worst of them all. It gets interesting if you have RU1 or RU2.

Joebucks Posted November 2, 2021 #6 Share Posted November 2, 2021 Even if there was a discount that is a LOT of money and alcohol consumed. Even in my heaviest partying days, after drinking for a few days, that was enough. Depending on what you like to drink, I'd look at buying a few bottles. For about $400-$500, you can get about 4-5 1 liter bottles. Hell, I couldn't even drink all that either.
groundloop Posted November 2, 2021 #7 Share Posted November 2, 2021 In my most humble opinion it would be far more cost effective to pre-purchase one or two bottle of liquor for your cabin from the fun shops than to pay for the cheers package for that length of cruise. V_V Posted November 2, 2021 #8 Share Posted November 2, 2021 There are other drinks covered by the Cheers package besides alcohol. Perhaps the OP would also like specialty coffees, soda, energy drinks, bottled water, etc. I can't remember if I read somewhere that smoothies/milkshakes were also included.

We've always gotten our money's worth from the drink package, and not all of it from alcohol. I would never buy bottles for my room because the chance of me going back to my cabin to make myself a drink while I'm sitting at the pool or at dinner is somewhere between zero and nil. 🙂
