Reflection-The Porch

Question for Reflection cruisers…is the Porch open? I know Reflection just launched post COVID today, so I’d like to hear from current cruisers, not pre COVID..

 

It shows it on the ship, but we can’t make a reservation FOR our upcoming cruise. We can make reservations for all other specialty restaurants.

The porch is more of a lunch venue. We've never needed reservations on reflection or silhouette and never seen it available to pre book. At times it was used for overflow seating for LCG at night. Food is very good esp the seafood tower.

We love the Porch and in our experience it’s always been a lunch venue with no option of making a reservation.   Only once has it been so busy we decided to eat elsewhere.   During a warm weather cruise it can get very hot unless there is a very good breeze.

We are on the Reflection now and The Porch is open for lunch and dinner (or at least it is listed as such in the daily planner).   The ship is less than half full, so I can't imagine a reservation is necessary.

We frequently eat at the Porch for dinner pre COVID.   I don’t believe the menu changes between Lunch and Dinner.

On our last cruise, they were turning away people who had not booked. 

We didn't - but being in a RS it wasn't a problem.

Other passengers including suite guests were sent away.
