Port Canaveral to Kennedy Space Center Help Please

We are on the Dream in February out of Port Canaveral.  We would like to go to Kennedy Space Center after the cruise.  My granddaughter is very into science and space (8 years old).

 

Disney doesn’t offer a tour for this.

 

Has anyone booked a tour company to go from the Port and return to the Orlando Airport?

if so, can you recommend a tour company?

 

Was it worth going?

You received some good suggestions on your other post. No need for a tour to do this.

We cruises in March of 2018.

 

We bought our tickets ourselves (way cheaper). and then used Cocoa Beach Shuttle. They picked us up from the cruise port and drove us to KSC. Then they picked us up and dropped us off at the hotel and then picked us up the next day to go back to the airport.

Very reasonable costs and they kept our luggage for the day so didn't have to store it at KSC.
