Amazon 2022 Brazil portion canceled

Anyone else booked on Amazon cruises for 2022 that now do not include the Amazon?  The new itinerary is Caribbean islands only with multiple overnights.  Guess it is their way not to cancel avoiding additional credits.

Now that they have resumed operations my guess is that we have seen the end of the 125% future cruise vouchers. At the same time, I doubt we have seen the end of such changes to itineraries for the unforeseeable future, especially on cruises that start or end in the US. It will now be entirely up to us to accept the changes or ask for a refund.  

 

There was a major change to our LA to Hawaii and back.  Viking did not cancel the cruise and the ship is now going to Mexico.   We were given the option of staying on or cancelling for a full refund by the given deadline.  Any cancellations after that would be treated as a regular cancellation and subject to the normal penalties.

Were you given the option of a refund? We are booked for February 2023 and am wondering whether to change our booking to a different sailing. We would not be interested in a Caribbean sailing.

We were able to either switch to 2023 with same pricing or request a full refund.  Due to other canceled cruises 2023 would not work for us.   The refund was returned quickly.  Would have preferred a 125% voucher.  Not an option.

Glad we saw the Amazon in 2019.  No telling when this will ever calm.  All those Amazon diseases and we wore no masks.  Lucky we survived..😱
