How to Cancel Courtesy Hold

I thought there was an ability to Cancel a Courtesy Hold.   I currently have one and wanted to release it for someone else who may wish.  

 

Previous ones the agent cancelled when he did the price match.       I have looked all over and the self cancellation doesn't seem to exist.   I guess I will just let it expire.

It can't be done on the website. It's either let it expire or call in. Most are only on hold for one day anyways.

I actually called to get a hold cancelled and the rep said just let it expire.  Since hold are normally only till midnight of the next day I no longer worry about cancelling, not worth the hold time.

I just went thru this myself during the past few days when I had a cabin held that I decided I didn't want.  After the 24 hr hold went by, I got an email from a Celebrity CVP who was looking to finish out the booking.  I asked her to simply cancel the hold which she did.

Thanks --- I did the same in the end.   I was tied up all day and just decided to let it cancel itself.   It was a PH on a cruise that is 90% sold.    We have a RS and were thinking of upgrading but was 2x the price of the RS so felt it wasn't worth it.
