Specialty Restaurants on Voyager

Think there are only 2 specialty restaurants on Voyager.  We have really enjoyed Prime 7 on voyager and the other Regent ships we have been on.  We were not a fan of the French restaurant - but that is mostly our bias.

Because the menus in Compass Rose is so varied and everything looks so good, it could be difficult to find something on the Prime 7 restaurant that we wanted and couldn't get in the Compass Rose.  But we did find some great stuff.  DH had the crab legs and they shelled them for him, no burning extra calories.  And a dessert which is vanilla ice cream, chocolate syrup, caramel and popcorn.  It is delicious and not to be missed.

Agree totally with ROLLTIDE. [Any affinity to Alabama?]  Try both [all?] of the specialty restaurants.  And ask for additional evenings if you fine either or both enjoyable.  With reduced capacity there should be above average chances of repeat reservations when onboard.

One personal observation regarding Setti Mari;  They serve BIG portions.  The appetizer bar has a scrumptious selection of Anti-Pasti and there is warm bread served at the table with butter and other toppings.   Beware: Don't fill up on the pre-courses - you won't finish your dinner - much less make it to the Tiramisu dessert.

Note: The two primary culprits in causing our loss of appetite were:  Breakfast and Lunch!

But, in eleven days and I can right that wrong and try again on Mariner!

OK, coffee for breakfast. Fruit for lunch.😏

Seriously, I'm hungry reading these posts.

Agreed on Prime 7, Chartreuse may be our least favorite on the ship.

Also agree on Setti Mari, its actually a waiter service restaurant off a full  menu with the option of going to the buffet for extra appy/desserts.  We rarely have.  I'd go to Setti Mari more than once.

Your specialty restaurant reservations are obviously fixed.  The menus for Compass Rose and Setti Mari are posted on the TV daily so you can decide what you fancy for that evening.
