How MSC screwed up on my cruise

People like to knock MCS’s food, but I was fine with it UNTIL….

 

Excursion to Bagnoregio including a “simple rustic Tuscan lunch with wine.”   
 

Oh my god the food was amazing. I’d forgotten how good simple Italian food can be when cooked right. Now I’m looking at the ship food and frowning. They should have taken up to lunch someplace with crap food. 
 

If you are docked at Civvitavechia, consider this tour if just for the lunch. Do be aware there are some steep uphill climbs. Stupid Etruscan’s building their cities wasaay up high.
