I just made reservations at the Holiday Inn Vacation Club Port Canaveral.  I cant wait to see what you thought of them!

I think my comments and photos of Hol Inn Vac Club Port Can are on pages 1 and 2. Definitely recommend not just for proximity to Cruise Terminal 3 but also close to local fresh fish restaurants (20 minute walk) and very close to beach and jetty park (5 minute walk).

I saw them, thank you for posting.  So excited to start planning ours for next year.

Was this lunch? And did you have a wait, if so?

It was dinner. We used the Hub app.  It was a 10 minute wait from the time we booked the table from our room.  Hub told us our assigned table, we walked up to hostess and she seated us immediately.  The linguine with littleneck clams in white wine sauce was very good.

Wife and I are sailing on MG on the 5th of Feb. Are they running shows in the main theater or anything? That was a big question we had that we can’t find anything on. Thanks.

Yes, everything seems to be going on as usual.  Multiple musical acts daily, multiple comedy shows daily in multiple venues, and here's a screenshot of tonight's theater offering.  Casino was packed last night.  Sadly,  my name was not picked to pick the spots off Matilda.

Water pressure in the shower is disappointing. Was much better on Pride and Legend last year. The handheld is almost useless,  the water just pours downward even on full power.

Costa Maya we just got off and checked out the port, went to the Grand Staircase and back.  As far as Carnivalized ports go, I think this is the first one I actually liked a bit. You can watch locals climbing up a tower, cultural dance and music,  observe the dolphin experience up close, all free. In addition to the tanzanite/ DI junk they have shops that seem to be independent mixed in with the Carnival operated shops. These 3 pics are at the end of the pier, where shopping begins... looking straight ahead,  to the left, to the right...

So does "Time Fries" only serve french fries?  Toppings?  Honestly, that's my irresistible bad treat I am addicted to fries and hadn't heard anything about this place...

What about "steam dreams" is that dumplings?  (another favorite of mine) If not, what do they serve...again I hadn't heard anything about this place either LOL....

Teppanyaki was worth the $32 upcharge.  We may not see the MDR this cruise at all. We love Mardi Gras! Tomorrow night,  Rudis Sea Grill.

Also felt Teppanyaki was worth the upcharge -- we never made it in the MDR either!

Its so funny - my hubby is a Floridian and goes everywhere, almost, in shorts and flip flops.  Even if it is cold outside.  But he will put on a hoodie and beanie to keep warm.

That's totally our youngest son!  He hates pants as much as I hate shoes.  🤣

Looks like my prognostication came true.  The Bills coach should be fired for not doing a squibb kick with 13 seconds left.  At least four or five seconds would have ticked off and the Chiefs would not have gotten their miracle comeback.

That was easily the best game of the season.  LOVED watching Gabe Davis having the game of his life (SO FAR) - I'm so proud of that young man!  We knew he was something special when we had him at UCF.  Felt a little bad for Mike Hughes (also from UCF) when Gabe took him down on his way to the end zone.  🤣  I'm sad we won't get to see Gabe play again until next season but I'm looking forward to seeing what he does next.  As a Dolphins fan, I have to live vicariously through my UCF players on other teams.  😜

Yes Time Fries is fried potatoes with various toppings of the day. Sometimes it will be tater tots with toppings.

Steam Dreams is Various steamed  Asian dishes. It's authentic Chinese food and you'll find items you won't see at Panda Express.
