Minnie29 Posted January 25, 2022 #1 Share Posted January 25, 2022 I have a Silhouette cruise booked in September and noticed that the prices have gone down considerably from when I booked onboard in July last year. I have paid a small £89 deposit and the balance is due at the end of July. what options do I have regarding contacting Celebrity to try and reduce my price? thank you
laslomas Posted January 25, 2022 #2 Share Posted January 25, 2022 I think you should be covered by the Best Offer Guarantee. See attached link from the UK website, good luck. TeaBag Posted January 25, 2022 #4 Share Posted January 25, 2022 I was going to say phone them, also, but you beat me to it. Happy for you. Enjoy your cruise. Silhouette is a lovely ship.
TeaBag Posted January 25, 2022 #5 Share Posted January 25, 2022 I'm not 100% sure for cruises booked in the UK, but here, if we booked through a TA, we have to ask them to reprice. hope you get this. I checked my cruise and AQ class is sold out so I'm afraid I'm out of luck. You should make sure these new lower prices are not Simply Sail. hawkesbaynz Posted January 25, 2022 #6 Share Posted January 25, 2022 Well done with the reprice. I managed that for a Beyond in September but Celebrity UK refused for a Silhouette cruise in March. I took the deposit as FCC and put it on the Beyond. Whilst I was on the phone to the UK office I rebooked on the US site for a substantial discount (I find it varies cruise by cruise). If you have already paid in full you may get OBC!
Rare oskidunker Posted January 26, 2022 #7 Share Posted January 26, 2022 I am on the end of sept in aqua so I guess no rebooking. All those cancellations are driving people to this ship.
