Interesting that the policy would be different on different ships

Yes and back in Nov when I was on the Anthem, I met several folks who had gotten off the Oasis and told me how much stricter that ship was.

I guess it does comes down to the officers in charge.

Circling back to this topic, we just returned from a T/A on board the Apex and I loved the outdoor track. Unfortunately my wife had broken her foot a few months before and wasn't able to exercise on this cruise, but she did do a slow lap in her orthopedic boot and was equally enthusiastic.

All of your replies have been very helpful and we thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. My wife has advised me that the October 2021 Apex T/A we had to cancel (with great regret) she’s already rescheduled to October 2022, so we’ll see you on deck on the walking track. 🙂

How did it go?

The ship was magnificent, the cruise was fabulous, and I loved the walking track. What more can I say?

Did you happen to get any pics of the track?  We'll be on a Great Barrier Reef cruise on Edge in Feb 2024.

On Edge class, is it windy up there, for my sun hat, do I need one that has a cord under the chin or do hats stay on? Thanks

Like any walking track on ships. Depends on the day, the weather whether or not it's windy, breezy or still. Your call. My Magic 8 Ball says," cannot predict now'. 🎱
