I know you can rent umbrellas, but are there chairs on beaches besides Lighthouse Beach? If not, do you have to rent them? I don’t see that as an option on the website.

We only went to YC beach and Lighthouse Beach.  Lighthouse we just strolled up to and sat at chairs. They also had stool type seats.

 

Just wanted to mention that when we went a few months back, about 1/3-1/4 of the beaches were closed.  Guessing due to low pax counts.  Not a problem though.  They were mostly the farthest from ship and to the left.

We we at OC in November and heading there again tomorrow.

There ARE free loungers at the other beaches, with an umbrella stand between two loungers.

 

Last time we rented an umbrella and headed over to South Beach.

We are doing the same this trip.

The lagoon is crystal clear and very calm.

Had the beach almost to ourselves.

Nothing to look at if you want to  snorkel though.

I was there in late January and there were hundreds (thousands?) of free loungers at multiple beaches. The only free umbrellas are at Lighthouse beach.

FYI about umbrellas: I rented an umbrella; had to walk down to a rental site closer to the lagoon beach to get it, then wait on a golf cart ride back to Lighthouse Beach, only to find plenty of loungers and umbrellas. I didn’t even open my rental umbrella. When the ship is at capacity, I suppose the rentals may be necessary. I’m not renting for my Feb trip. You don’t have to return the umbrellas, BTW. Just leave them on the beach.

Confirming what others have said ... colored umbrellas on Lighthouse Beach are free. Only the white umbrellas are rental, and you can wait until you realize you need one to rent.

 

Pro tip: Take a couple 3" nails with you. Why on earth? Because many of the umbrellas on Lighthouse have lost the pin that you need to insert to deploy the umbrella. You'll be able to use umbrellas that no one else can.
